On Friday January 22nd, New Connection Dating (NCD) paid their debt to society and held the company's First Annual Date for Charity Auction held at Game On Sports Bar in The Pier Shops at Caesars. The auction featured 18 of the area's most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes being auctioned off for a date with the winning bidder, all proceeds went to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
The auction was far from your typical fundraiser, this evening was stocked to the brim with deep pocket bidders, beautiful singles, great priced drinks, and awesome music by DJ Micahphonechecka and DJ Jordan Williams. The night's energy sored as bidding wars began when Mina Akladious, host and CEO of newconnectiondating.com, after only 3 Auctions in and Mina started offering 2 for 1 auction deals. Singles, Meridith Godfrey and Marilu Bakaric, were auctioned off for a staggering $900 the crowd roared as Mina awarded the lucky unnamed bidder his prize of the two lovely ladies. Although this lucky gentleman may have dropped a pretty penny for the dazzling duo the top bidder of the night would have to go Mr. L. Merlino who we will just call "Johnny". Johnny dropped over $1,800 on winning the bids of Casey Driscol $600, Ana Costano $650, and the 3 woman package deal of sisters and members of NCD- Irene, Gina, and Jenn Akladious $600.
We caught up with Johnny and asked him about the experience he let us know - "It was a great experience, it's the first time I've ever paid for a date let alon five, but it was for a great cause. New Connection needs to do it more often". The amount he shelled may seem a little outlandish to some but very feasible to Johnny,being that he has a family member that is a survivor of Breast Cancer, so as he says -the money is nothing if it will help save a life.
Of all the the singles being auctioned off, the most entertaining had to be Mr. Ricky Reinoso. who decided to serenade the audience with an R&B freestyle in efforts to increase his bidding worth.

Along with all of the auctioning, newconnectiondating.com had many give aways and raffles from dinner at 5 star restaurants to expensive jewelry. Hands down Mina and the team at newconnectiondating.com pulled out all the stops for a great cause. We must all thank the team that put it all together- Dennis Piccone, James Richards, Ana Costano, Irene Akladious, Gina Akladious, Jenn Akladious,the staff and management of Game on sports bar and of course the man of the hour Mr. Mina Akladious.
